Remembrance of Things Past

Well, Blogger seems to be working today. This vest was a quick project for me when the manager of the department at the store where I was a knitting instructor insisted that I show up for work in handknits. It was interesting to knit because of the armhole facings. The yarn was Bucilla Softex, which was a splendid yarn, very hard wearing and lovely colors. In fact, I still have the color card somewhere...

The pink sweater is one I made about 30 years ago which had appeared on the cover of Woman's Day Magazine. As I recall, it looked cute with jeans, and I really wish I could still fit into it.
